Understanding LionHeart Audio Notifications and Troubleshooting (V2 only))

This article applies to LionHeart V2 only


Your LionHeart Heart Rate Monitor is equipped with audio notifications that serve as indicators for proper connectivity and heart rate detection. Understanding what these beeps mean can help you ensure your device is always tracking accurately during your workouts.


- One Beep: Indicates that the Heart Rate Monitor has been correctly connected to the strap and has detected your heart rate.

- Three Beeps: Signifies that the monitor has stopped detecting heart rate activity, which may occur for a couple of reasons outlined below.


Troubleshooting Audio Notifications

If you hear three beeps during your workout, it typically means one of two things:


1. Monitor Disconnection: The Heart Rate Monitor may have become disconnected from the strap. Check the snaps or clasps to ensure they are securely fastened.


2. Insufficient Contact: The strap may not be making enough contact with your body. A good connection is vital for accurate heart rate detection.

How to Fix Connectivity Issues


- Reattach the Monitor: Remove the Heart Rate Monitor from the strap and then reattach it, ensuring it is firmly snapped in place.

  

- Adjust the Strap: Tighten and reposition the strap on your body to improve contact. The strap should be snug but comfortable, sitting flat against the skin.
