What is the Daily Target and How is it Calculated?

For 45 minute classes, the target is 45 points and for 60 minute classes the target is 60 points. This number represents the optimum training load for a session, where the balance between effort and recovery is most effective.

The daily target is derived from looking at the effort of every single member globally for that specific workout (e.g. Redline, Athletica, Romans etc) and using the HRR% that represents the median.

During the target calculation we also wash data for significant outliers and use studies-backed effort scales to ensure that the right % of the network fall within the target range.

Members who consistently get 45 points are more likely to see fitness and physiological benefits compared to those who regularly exceed the target for the same number of classes.
